During the farewell dinner on the last night of the reunion some of the people were poked fun at. They all received a remembrance plaque for the work they did for Band of Brothers, each of them in his or her own way.

George Luz and Gene Guarnere did the presentation. Gene turned out to be a born comedian who made everybody laugh almost every time he said something.

Kerry Tipper, Ed's daughter.

Sorry: I forget the names of these nice people. Help me if you know them
Fltr: Matthew Settle (Ron Speirs) - Billy Martin - Gene Guarnere - Scott Grimes
Next to Scott Grimes is Billy Martin, Johnny Martin's son. He and his family took indefatigable care of the drinks and foot during the 4 days of the reunion. Thanks Billy!!! We had a great time
Bill Guarnere and Richard Speight Jr.
Bill received a standing ovation for all the work he did, organizing the Easy Company reunions since W.W.II. It became to much work for him and he had to stop.
Right: Bill is perceptible touched.
Don Malarkey received two badges from a very young soldier. The boy told that Don always wanted to join the Marines but he never succeeded. That's why he got these badges after so many years. It was mend as a joke but Don was perceptible touched. What memories would a veteran like Don
Also the management from the Double Tree Hotel in Phoenix received a plaque for their contribution to make the reunion a success.

At the table: Joe Hobbs and his wife. Joe is the one who produced the costumes that were used in the TV-series. Next to him Babe Heffron.

Merav thanks everybody. (next to her Gene Guarnere and left: Earl "One lung" Mc.Clung and Bill Guarnere.)

The 4 actors all received a 'South Philly'-shirt from Bill and Babe who both are very proud being from that town. When they sign a book they always write "South Philly" next to their signatures

Merav Brooks ( HBO) is honored for what she did for the Easy Company veterans and their families.

The 2002 Easy Company Reunion was fantastic.

This picture symbolizes the bond that is between all the Easy Veterans, their families and all the others that got in contact with them during the past years.

For us as "outsiders" it feels like being part of one big family.
