Lord Carrington speeched on behalf of the British Guards Armoured Division. Above right: Major Moffatt Burriss spoke on behalf of the 82nd Airborne Division, 65 years ago the liberators of Nijmegen. Burriss was one of the commanding officers during the famous Waal river crossing. |
