Albert Blithe died in 1967 while on active duty in Germany, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. In the summer of 1967 he got orders to go to Germany he was there for 6 months and on December 17, 1967 he passed away. Cemetery.

Above right shows the letter in which you can read how Albert Blithe died after an accident. Because he had told his wife Kay many times that he wanted to be buried at Arlington Cemetery she made arrangements for him to be buried there.
