. Forrest in front of the Marmion farm in Ravenoville. Same place, different time.

After the war Forrest became a teacher. He visited every reunion together with his wife Harriet. They also were present at the reunion in June 2001 in Paris and Utah Beach.

f.r.t.l: Forrest, together with C. Carwood Lipton and Jim Alley watching Jake Powers' (l) poster which was made from the BOB book cover photo. It was signed by all the veterans who were present.(46)

Forrest signing my BOB-book during the reunion in Paris, June 2001.
Forrest and his wife Harriet often visit Europe. During the reunion and ceremony on D-Day 2001 ( Utah Beach) I was able to shoot these pictures below. Forrest (with sun glasses) on the right and Rod Strohl on the left next to him (also with sun glasses) while walking to the stage. Photo below left they are sitting on the left and right, waiting for the ceremony. Buck Taylor is sitting next to Rod Strohl and Normand Neitzki next to Forrest.
left: Forrest signing the new released book that was written about him. From July 19 untill 21, 2002 he was present at the War & Peace Show in Beltring England. It's a book with new facts and photos from which I used some on this website. A book that is very much worth to buy it.
