On Sunday afternoon, June 5th, a visit was planned to the drop zones near Ste Mére Eglise. It was raining an lunch was served in the field. For quite a while it was unsure if the dropping could go on due to the very low clouds.

Though the weather was bad a lot of people came to visit the event.
