After
the unveiling and the ceremony in Angoville au Plaine the veterans had
lunch in the Triple
A re-enactors camp. In a very relaxed sphere (without the usual book
signing!) they had lunch and were able to look around on the camp sight.
It was great. Thanks to the men of Triple A! |

After
some practicing Shifty threw up his cigarette and Earl had to shoot it.
According to the stories their buddies told me, Earl and Shifty were the
best gun men of the company. They were able to fire an aimed shot while
bringing there guns into position.
In May 2011 Shifty Powers' book was released. "Shifty's War" by Marcus Brotherton (ISBN 978-0-425-24097-7)
