During the last days of the reunion the group stayed in Eindhoven, a town liberated by the 101st Airborne Division on September 18, 1944.
We visited the museum Liberating Wings at Best, the drop zones in Son but also non WWII related spots like the little village of Oirschot, about 6 miles North-West of Eindhoven

Not only the veterans received a medal but also their partners and n.o.k.

After the official ceremony there was time to relax. Frank Perconte enjoys the presence of my granddaughter Famke while she is obviously enjoying Frank. Behind them James Madio.

For the second time Earl met my daughter Marieke, this time with her daughter.
