During the European reunion the cemeteries where some of their buddies are buried were visited

The cemetery near OMAHA BEACH in Normandy, HAMM (Luxembourg) and MARGRATEN in The Netherlands.

January 10, 1945 the foxhole from SKIP MUCK (above) and Alex Penkale was hit by a German shell. Both were killed instantly.
Skip's niece, Eileen O'Hara, (right) laid flowers on behalf of her family at his graveside at the HAMM cemetery For everybody an emotional moment, especially for those who were eyewitness 61 years ago.

Warren 'Skip' Muck's graveside with the flowers Eileen laid on behalf of her family. The Holy Card she brought from her mother (Skip's sister) who passed away only a few weeks before Eileen left for Europe. She had promised her to take the card with her to her brother's graveside in Europe.

All former buddies of Skip Muck comforted Eileen during the visit.
