On June 6, 2005 the 61st commemoration of D-Day took place at Utah Beach.

It was a cold an rainy day but that was no problem for the officials.

The representatives of the Allied Countries (r) held their speeches, mainly in French, so the present easy Company veterans did not understand a word of it.

They listened patiently till the ceremony was done and boarded the bus numb. No one complained though.

Buck Taylor and Don Malarkey were the ones who laid the wreaths.(right) The Brécourt Manor owner and director of the Utah Beach Museum.

All veterans received a commemoration coin with certificate.
